Towards the finish, Hagen who defended the Sky Team group shot leaving large group.

Edvald Boasson Hagen of Norway won the Tour de France Stage VI that was held on Thursday, July 7, 2011. Yellow shirt is still dominated by compatriot Hagen, Thor Hushovd.

The participants should strive to complete this Stage. The rain made streets slippery conditions. Not to mention the exposure to high winds increasingly difficult for the participants completed the 226.5 km distance between Dinan to Lisieux, northwestern France.

Towards the finish, Hagen who defended the Sky Team group shot leaving large. He is known as a sprint champion. He immediately raised his arms after crossing the finish line.

"I was shocked to win. Many say if I were talented, so fun to talk could prove it by winning at this stage," said Hagen.

Runner-occupied Australian rider Matt Goss. While Thor Hushovd won the third place.

In the standings, Hushovd is in top position only one second adrift of Evans Cadek from Australia. Luxembourg rider Frank Schleck, was in third place. (AP)
