Casey Stoner confirmed, his victory at Laguna Seca is a warning to his rivals that he is still there and ready to rise again after briefly sinking. Because, in the last three series Stoner always be manipulated, although it could go up lectern.

Before the United States Grand Prix on Sunday (07/24/2011), the distance from the rival Stoner with Yamaha, Jorge Lorenzo, only 15 points. However, now the 2007 world champion was able to stretch it back to 20, after beating the Spaniard in the race for number one podium.

Indeed, since the beginning of the season champion Stoner was a favorite because of its performance is good. After winning the series opener in Qatar, the Australian rider won three consecutive wins in France, Catalunya, and Silverstone. After that, he could only rank three so he was not scary anymore.

"At last we were satisfied, very satisfied," said Stoner, who has collected a total of five victories this season.

"I think people forget we have started a little over the last few weeks. We are indeed difficult, but for some reason, we are aware. Good feeling to be back with a bike like this and show everyone that we can still win."

Stoner signs of revival has been shown since the free practice and he was also fastest during warm-ups. During the race, Stoner was steady at number three, but ultimately could bulldoze his colleague from Repsol Honda, Dani Pedrosa, before passing Lorenzo.

"I saw Dani little trouble so decided to pass because we do not want to lose a lot of time with Jorge," said Stoner.

"Then, after I approached Jorge, I want to stay behind to see what happens. After that, we know that we have more speed than Jorge, so we decided to go ahead and see what happens."
