Capirossi in Good Shape for Laguna Seca

Loris Capirossi believes that this time he was fit enough to enable it to re-appear in the arena of MotoGP. Therefore, the Italian rider was able to fight optimistic in the United States Grand Prix this weekend.

Pramac Ducati rider suffered a sprained right shoulder injury caused by accident during the Dutch Grand Prix qualifying final last month. It makes Capirossi had missed the last two series, namely at Assen and Mugello.

Last weekend at the Sachsenring, Germany, Capirossi made ​​his debut during the opening free practice session. However, he is still experiencing difficulties due to conditions that do not fit so that the former Suzuki rider decided to withdraw and replace by Sylvain Guintoli.

Now, the 38-year-old rider was already very ready to compete this weekend at Laguna Seca. Nevertheless, Capirossi admits that the circuit will be a big challenge.

"This time I really get back on track," said Capirossi. "As I said before the weekend in Sachsenring, (Ducati) Desmosedici is mine, and saw another rider on the bike was very disturbed."

"I was not yet in top condition, but I've worked hard over the last few days to be in decent physical condition. The track is really heavy, which is not ideal in my condition. But, I'll give 110 percent to be able to finish the race . I expect a very challenging weekend, "he explained.

Capirossi, who has won nine races in the premier class, has never finished higher than ninth place this year. Now, he was ranked 16 standings.
