Valentino Rossi will get a new crew boss for the first time in many years with Jeremy Burgess. The reason, Burgess will miss the Mugello Circuit, Italy this weekend.
Burgess had to return to Australia to meet his wife, who underwent a series of medical tests and may be forced to have surgery. Ducati said in a statement.
Burgess role will be replaced by Max Bartolini, who normally works as a technical manager.
"Good luck overshadow Jeremy, who could not join us this weekend because there is a very important personal reasons," said Rossi. "We will greatly miss him in the garage. We'll look forward to at the Sachsenring."
"For the time being, we must try to do the best in Mugello. We've been riding a bike in there with the GP12. But because we were still 800 cc motor, then the response is a bit different to be adjusted, and it is also the first phase of development."
