Monday, July 11, 2011

Honda will launch an electronic package and new swingarm to the ninth MotoGP race series in 2011 at the Sachsenring, Germany, 17 July. Casey Stoner, Andrea Dovizioso and Marco Simoncelli has been evaluating a new swingarm that during one-day test session at Mugello on Monday (04.07.11).

Beside, the trio of Honda was also trying to set up a new engine braking and have found changes in the renewal of the two sectors. They confirmed that new parts will be fitted to the RC212V machine during the race at the Sachsenring.

Dovizioso, Repsol Honda rider, who currently ranks third standings, told MCN: "We tried a different engine braking system, and we experienced a slight increase, although not perfect. So we will try many more ideas at the Sachsenring. But it better than normal because usually more frequently locked the rear wheels. We also tried a new swingarm, and it's a bit strange because there is more movement, as well as aggressive on the back, but records his time better and easier to grab. "

San Carlo Gresini rider, Simoncelli, who is still chasing a podium for the first time in the premier class adds: "I tested a new swingarm and for me it was positive. It is no big difference, but still positive, and we tested a few items for the stability braking, and has slightly improved. We get some good information here, so it will be good for the Sachsenring and for the rest of the season. "
