Excellent Performance who drove to victory in Mugello on July 3, make Jorge Lorenzo optimistic face of the race this weekend in Germany. Yamaha rider was also determined to achieve the first victory at the Sachsenring circuit, while providing even greater pressure to the leader of the standings, Casey Stoner.
During his career in MotoGP, Sachsenring, including one of the few tracks that have never won by Lorenzo. In the spring of 2009 and 2010, world champion Spain is only capable of being a runner-up.

"I feel very good after our victory at Mugello; a great victory that we need to trust yourself. We will get a lot of energy from the win to face the series forward, especially for the next two races," said Yamaha rider number one them.
"Now it's time for Germany; Sachsenring is a unique track where I've performed there since 2002 and have never won! I want to do it, because it becomes an interesting challenge for me in front of my fans in Germany."
Lorenzo knew only victory that allowed him to realize the determination to continue to put pressure on Stoner. Currently, they are only 19 points adrift, after Stoner won four out of eight series which already acted.
"Tim and I am ready to try again to cut the difference in points with Casey. The main goal is the podium, but we will strive to push for a victory," said Lorenzo, the former double world champion 250cc class.
Two weeks ago, Lorenzo win an impressive at Italian GP, once the first victory in the 2011 season on the track dry, and end the four defeat of Stoner. Previously, he had also won the wet race at Jerez.
"When we can bring a good motor like previously in Italy, so Jorge can fight for victory fight," said team manager Wilco Zeelenberg. "That's our target for the race at Sachsenring and Laguna.
"Winning is very important to do it in the next two series before the holidays; we only left 19 points on the rest of the first half of this season, so anything can happen."
Race at Laguna Seca, United States, will take place just a week after the Sachsenring. At Laguna Seca as well, according to Yamaha plans to re-use white-red - as in the Dutch Grand Prix on June 25 -, which has historical value.
