Spies Felt Lucky Not Injuried

Ben Spies become one of the riders who fell in the race at Silverstone. Yamaha rider admitted he was lucky because no injuries from the accident.

Spies should leave the race when it is still going on eight laps. He crashed in a race that took place on wet tracks.

Drivers from the United States, said the wet track difficult for him to halt. Impact, the motor becomes easy to slip and this is what started the accident itself.

One lap later, teammate, Jorge Lorenzo, also crashes. So, be a Yamaha saw both drivers failed to finish the race.

"My back hit hard. Guard my back is broken, but it was doing a good job," he said in Autosport.

Spies might take a little time to recover his condition. However, he promised that he would return to race and perform better in the Dutch MotoGP.

"It felt very ill and may need a cushion for the next few days. But, I am glad it is not severe."

"We'll take a few days to relax and recuperate, and then we'll be back fighting at Assen," he said.
