Spies Perfom His Fully Potential in Assen

Ben Spies perfect performance in the celebration of 50 years of participation in the Champions Yamaha motorcycle racing with encouraging results. In the seventh MotoGP 2011 in Assen, the Netherlands, on Saturday (25/06/2011), Spies won.

These results are certainly encouraging the Yamaha camp, especially when they had "hurt" by the events that befall Jorge Lorenzo. MotoGP world champion must accept the bitter truth when the race started because he was involved an incident with Marco Simoncelli that fall and, although it could continue the race again, Lorenzo could only finish in sixth.

The fact was made by Managing Director of Yamaha MotoGP, Lin Jarvis was very pleased. He also gave praise to Spies, who did all weekend was impressive perfomance.

"Spies shows real potential. Graph appearance continued to increase since the 2009 Superbike champion and making his debut in MotoGP in 2010, and has now joined with Yamaha," said Jarvis on Yamaha paddock after the race.

"This is also a proud achievement for Spies as he for the first time the number one podium finish of his career in MotoGP. Achievement is certainly very proud because he became a champion when Yamaha celebrates 50 years of participation in MotoGP," added Jarvis.

Indeed, Spies performed almost perfectly in the race with overcast weather at the Assen circuit. Start of the order of two, he immediately skyrocketed and continues to lead the way race with two drivers ahead of Repsol Honda, the Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso.
