Yamaha Postpone 1000cc Engine Test

Yamaha will not be testing the first version of his 2012 MotoGP bike, until after the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in August. That means, the Japanese team lost to the start of the two rivals, Honda and Ducati.

Indeed, Honda and Ducati motorcycles have tested the new 1000 cc version that will be used in MotoGP next season. In fact, Ducati dare to try it when it appeared in the Dutch Grand Prix on Saturday (06/25/2011), by combining the chassis 2012 and 800 cc engine, so named Ducati GP11.5.

Previously, there's going to test Yamaha's 2012 motorcycle was at Mugello, where it will be done at next week's Italian GP. However, this world champion team put it off again and announced that the trials conducted in mid-August.
