Aoyama Replace Pedrosa (temporary) in Assen

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Repsol-Honda team in MotoGP Holland reported that the seventh round at Assen circuit on Saturday (06/25/2011), they appear with the complete formation. Casey Stoner as leader of the standings followed by teammate Andrea Dovizioso and minus Dani Pedrosa, whose position was replaced by Japanese rider Hiroshi Aoyama.

Honda seems to want to reap great achievements in Assen. The proof, in addition to the core team, they also strengthen the ranks in a satellite team. HRC test rider, Kousuke Akiyoso, deployed at the San Carlo Gresini team to accompany Marco Simoncelli.

Goodness Gresini camp is not without purpose. They certainly hope to supply the engine of the HRC, of course with racing seats to give compensation to the Japanese rider. Problem Simoncelli will be drawn to the factory team, it is unlikely as long as Pedrosa is still in there, especially the oil is still the main sponsor.

"After a tough race at Silverstone and pocketed three consecutive victories, plus istarahat for a moment, I went to Assen with confidence," said Stoner. Assen, he continued, is a great track, especially the last part is very enjoyable. "I believe the RC212V (Honda) will work just fine," he said.

Just like his teammate, Dovi-familiar greeting, Dovizioso also very fond of this old track. However, he regretted that some changes in the tracks that have the characteristics of Assen.

On the other hand, Dani Pedrosa was very sorry to go back to being spectators. However, he admitted, after the operation (last Thursday), he felt much better and not feel sick anymore. "I have already started rehabilitation and a very positive development. I will be performing at Mugello (Italy), so my focus is now working to get the best."
