MotoGP Takes Out WSBK ?

A pretty shocking news was released by the Financial Times. According to the British business newspaper, Infront Sports and Media - which includes a portfolio of commercial rights of the World Superbike Championship - being prepared for sale.

There are three potential buyers who are ready to take over Infront Sports and Media. But one of the three bidders, the Financial Times identified, none other than Bridgepoint, which is the majority shareholder of Dorna Sports, which owns the commercial rights of the MotoGP. An indication Superbike GP will take over?

Bridgepoint get MotoGP in 2006, after its previous owner, CVC, was forced to sell to buy the rights to Formula One (F1) World Championship. Until now, CVC still have it.

If the bid Bridgepoint successful, then there will be major implications for the MotoGP and WSBK. The reason, have often seen that two such prestigious motor racing event fight each other because they both have fans.

Financial Times stated that the Qatar Investment Authority, including the bidder to buy infront of other woods. In addition, there is again a third bidder from Abu Dhabi, although his wealth was not identified.
