There are three MotoGP races in Spain this season. Among the three, Catalunya is the actual race cage for Jorge Lorenzo, so he hopes to perform neat in there.
Three series that takes place in Spain is the Spanish MotoGP in Jerez, MotoGP Catalunya in Montmelo, Barcelona and last MotoGP Aragon in Aragon, Valencia. Among the three, Catalunya is closest to the house of Lorenzo in Mallorca.
"We're going straight to Montmelo and we even do not have to get on a plane," said Lorenzo describes the closeness of it like that in Crash.

Lorenzo Spain already satisfy the public when he appeared as the winner in Jerez early April. Lorenzo was determined to perform well in Catalunya, especially since he had a good history there.

"We are now going directly to Montmelo and we did not even need to get on a plane. This is amazing! I am very excited to be here, the track closest to my house," said Lorenzo. "I remember last year's victory and victories on my days in the 250cc class.
"This is a fast track with high speed and slow corners. This is the second race in Spain and I want to be like in Jerez. I know it will be difficult, we need a lot of improvement because our competitors are very strong and my fingers are still in the healing process after accident while heating at Le Mans.
"Our target in this GP will be on the podium. We must be the focus of the day Friday, and I am quite confident that the team is ready to fight, as usual."
Lorenzo already explained, that she needed something more than the Yamaha, so it can compensate for the Honda rider, with Stoner (two wins) and his partner, Dani Pedrosa injured (one win), in dry race.
Team Manager Wilco Zeelenberg hope, Lorenzo could stop the momentum of Honda, such as the MotoGP season began busiest phase.
"We've lost a little speed, so this is a good time to make a firm statement to the first after-race race before, to see if we can make a difference here," he said.
In June, there are three MotoGP series that will last. After the Catalunya GP, British GP a week later took place at Silverstone, 12 June, and continued with the Dutch GP in Assen, on June 25.
