Valentino Rossi Grieving over death of Marco Simoncelli

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ROME - rider seven times world champion Valentino Rossi claimed respect and salute to his friend Marco Simoncelli, who was killed in an accident on the Malaysian Grand Prix race on Sunday, with sahabatanya from Italy describing it as "brother."

Simoncelli (24) lost his life after a collision involving Rossi and Colin Edwards just a few minutes after their initial exercise (start) on the race at the Sepang Circuit.

"For me Sic a younger brother or sister and he was very friendly during his lifetime," said Rossi, "I still feel insecure by his death, I was very sad."

Rossi reportedly in tears after the race, when informed of this sad news.

Italian soccer giants Inter and AC Milan are the two sports clubs who first expressed their sympathy. "AC Milan say profound sorrow to the family of Marco, his supporters over the incident rider's death," Milan said in a statement on their website.

Inter adds, "President Massimo Moratti and everyone at Inter Milan, together with (coach) Claudio Ranieri and the team, expressed deep pain for sport and the sports world Italian Marco Simoncelli's death."

"Given the departure of a young rider who's energetic, Inter expressed sorrow to the families and friends of Marco Simoncelli." Inter supporters when their team developed a banner against Chievo, with the inscription: There's a New Star (in heaven) ".

There is also the sad news of the Ferrari Formula One team principal, Stefano Domenicali. "At this very difficult to express the words for this sadness, sadness for the death of rider who is shining Marco," he said.
