Rossi Just Lost His Brother on Track

Valentino Rossi had just lost his brother and a best friend who is a candidate to be the next MotoGP star, Marco Simoncelli. 24-year-old rider last breath at 16:56 due to an accident during the race at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Sunday (10/23/2011).

Over these tragic events, Rossi also berbelasungkawa. Through a Twitter account, seven-time MotoGP world champion revealed and salutnya respect to the friend, who was regarded as her own sister.

"For me, Sic was like a young brother. He was so tough on the track, and very friendly in normal life. I would really miss him," wrote Rossi via his official Twitter account, @ ValeYellow46.

Indeed, the accident is very tragic Simoncelli. "Supersic", which appeared very aggressive from the start, competing for the fourth position with Rizla Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista, crashed in curve 11 second lap.

Unfortunately, while falling, he and the Gresini Honda motor mount instead dragged into an area that is being passed by Colin Edwards (Yamaha Tech 3) and Valentino Rossi (Ducati). Deadly accident had occurred due to Edwards and Rossi was unable to avoid cornering.

As a result of the collision, Simoncelli helmet came off and he was lying on the tracks, while Edwards crashed out of the track which makes dislocation injuries to the shoulder. Meanwhile, Rossi was still able to control the bike, although it was out of the track and straight into the pit because the bike is damaged.

After the incident, immediately raised a red flag stopped the race mark. Simoncelli was taken by ambulance to the circuit medical center for help. Unfortunately, the work done can not be helped, and former world champion 250 cc class was declared dead at 16:56.

Hearing the sad news that, Rossi, who looked glum after the accident, reportedly in tears. Nine-time world champion grand prix must accept the bitter truth, lost his friend that was predicted to have achievements like himself.
