Yamaha Confirm Lorenzo and Spies on Japan GP

Yamaha have confirmed that their two rider, Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, will follow the Japanese GP in early October. Thus, puzzle concerning the participation of the Yamaha riders at Motegi Circuit is answered.

Earlier, Lorenzo had planned to boycott the race in the Yamaha home. The defending champion MotoGP admitted concerned with the effects of nuclear radiation following a nuclear reactor in Fukushima damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami disaster in March.

Now, doubts about the participation of Lorenzo and Spies was answered. Monday (09/12/2011), the team confirmed that they will come with full force to perform at Motegi on October 2.

Yamaha also said that they will wear the full uniform of history, white and red, in the race. This is a series of 50-year celebration of its participation in motor racing arena. Thus, for the fourth time the colors were used during the 2011 season.
