Lorenzo Back in Track of Championship

Jorge Lorenzo proved his determination to beat the Honda Grand Prix of San Marino on Sunday (09/04/2011). In a race as many as 28 laps, the Yamaha rider is bulldoze four Honda rider at a time, that is Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner, Marco Simoncelli, and Andrea Dovizioso.

"I really needed this victory Because the last two races have been a nightmare so to be back with a really good bike is great," said Lorenzo.

This victory makes Lorenzo now has a total of 224 points and only 35 points from Stoner at odds-the previous 44 points. With five series in the 2011 season remaining, the chances of Lorenzo to retain the world title is still wide open because there are a total of 125 points are up for grabs.
