Monster Yamaha rider in the senior team Tech 3's Colin Edwards wants to repeat the achievement in Indianapolis GP at the San Marino Grand Prix this weekend. Edwards morale is improving and he wants to maintain the momentum to penetrate the ranks of the top six in Misano Circuit.
"Indianapolis GP and pecans is a very difficult race that ranks seventh is a good result. The target this weekend is to start in the second row and finish in the top six," Edwards said on Tuesday (08/30/2011) in San Marino.
Six of the top most realistic target for the team rider's Tech 3 Yamaha Monster. The top five positions are usually occupied by three riders and two team Repsol Honda rider on a Yamaha, if they do not exist among the fallen.
For Edwards, Circuit Misano circuit has special memories for his first time competing with Yamaha World Superbike team at tahun1995. In 2004, Edwards and his family had lived in the area of Riccione, San Marino.
"I'm very excited to compete again at Misano. The audience excited and really significant stuff like MotoGP. My team has been issued a motorcycle maximum package and I will strive to seize the best results," Edwards said.
