Sunday, August 21, 2011

Nicky Hayden, waiting for a chance to try motorcycle parts for a new front on Friday (19/08/2011) in Rome, Italy. Parts that prove to be useful for Valentino Rossi in MotoGP Czech series.

Problem of the front of the unsteady and difficult to control Rossi and Hayden had complained since the beginning of the MotoGP season. By using new parts, Rossi was able to grab the sixth position in the Czech Republic.

Ducati team's crew chief Jerry Burgess said the changes are the best breakthrough since November last year. The modification includes changes to the front axle that gave Rossi flexibility at the base of the fork. Changes were also tested on a motorcycle Hayden used to GP11.1.

Hayden can feel a big improvement on the performance of the front of his motorcycle. However, it can not be applied in Indianapolis next week.

"I tried for two hours and no progress. More easily controlled and I can feel the front tires better. However, we do not have a lot of these parts so I had to return it," said Hayden.
