Yamaha finally talk about rescheduling the Japanese GP, which will be held on October 2. Ranks of senior management team from Japan's hope that the two rider, Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, appears in the event that took place at the Motegi Circuit.

Previously, Yamaha never talk about sanctions or steps that they take if Lorenzo and Spies refused to go to Japan. In fact, Honda, Ducati, and Suzuki was first to give a statement that if the race remains established, their rider must honor the contract with the team. That is, three factory teams were asking all rider go to Japan.

Yamaha delay to issue a statement to get a report from an independent team that conducted an investigation on the effects of nuclear radiation in Japan. It turned out that the commission established Dorna said, radiation effects can be ignored so that the race will still be held as scheduled.

Indeed, since the damage that hit a nuclear reactor in Fukushima result of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, last March, a number of riders refused to go to that country. They fear the effects of nuclear radiation, let alone the distance Fukushima-Motegi fairly close.

Lorenzo, world champion in 2010, including the driver who firmly stated his refusal. The same thing also disclosed a former teammate who now join the Ducati, Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda rider, Casey Stoner.

However, Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis, finally gave an official statement. He was very hopeful Lorenzo and Spies also honor the contract and take part in the race at Motegi.

Meanwhile, two satellite Yamaha team rider, Monsters Tech 3 Yamaha, Colin Edwards and Cal Cruthclow, had already confirmed their participation in Brno, Czech Republic. Thus, Lorenzo and Spies were expected to follow in their footsteps.

"After the publication of reports and confirmation of the FIM and Dorna that the race continues as planned, the position of the Yamaha is going to join the race. We expect the two riders we were there, as well as the Tech 3 rider, who has been confirmed in Brno."

Jarvis said the penalty for breach of contract if Lorenzo Spies is not present or had not been discussed. The reason, he still had faith Lorenzo and Spies will go to Japan if it does not face obstacles.

"We have not discussed it because we expect them to be there. Of course every rider has the obligation to attend all the races are held. But, there may be situations where they could not attend due to injury or illness. If there is no problem, no reason a rider does not follow the race. If one of them did not attend, we will place a rider replacement so our intent was still appear at Motegi with two riders. "
