Newcomer Moto2 rider, Bradley Smith, a very charming Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team. The team is considering a place for him in MotoGP in 2012.
Smith is a former world champion two for the 125cc class. In this season, Smith has won three times the podium and the front row at the start, from 10 series that followed with the team Tech3 Moto2.
20-year-old rider was once ranked third in the standings, but slipped to seventh because of a fall in the last two series.
However, Smith has collected 71 points and Mike di Meglio, a former world champion in the 125 cc class, which is now competing in Moto2.
"Tech 3 consider me to join their MotoGP team next season. Everything is not finalized until after the race at Misano, in three weeks. I have to consider many things before making a decision," Smith said on Tuesday (16/08/2011) at Brno , Czech.
According to Smith, to be considered for entry into the MotoGP is a great honor. However, Smith is also considering to survive another year in Moto 2.
Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team now has riders Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow in MotoGP. The contract with Edwards will end this year. Senior rider was never seized the podium at the Circuit Siverstone and ranked ninth standings.
While the new comer Crutchlow has a two-year contract. Crutchlow choose a good start at the beginning of his career in MotoGP, but suffered an injury while competing at Silverstone and heckled Tech 3 boss, Herve Poncharal, because of a fall without cause in the Czech series.
