Two titles were settled at Sepang as Jorge Lorenzo took his first ever MotoGP crown, whilst Toni Elías was confirmed as the first ever Moto2 World title holder.

Ahead of the start of the action Loris Capirossi gave an idea of the Sepang layout, and the OnBoard cameras captured the best of the thrills from the bikes all through the weekend. As usual it was the 125cc class who kicked events off on race day and Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider Marc Márquez took his eighth win of the season to suppose the lead of the overall standings by just three points with as many rounds remaining.

In the Moto2 race Italtrans STR rider Roberto Rolfo took his first victory of the season, his first World finals win since his 250cc triumph at Jerez in 2004.

Fourth place for Elías was sufficient to hand him the opening Moto2 title and the Spaniard of the Gresini Racing team was understandably elated at his attainment when he spoked in an exclusive interview.
