Microsoft launch Office Communication Software

The largest computer company, Microsoft launched Lync, a new version of software for enterprise telephone system.
Previously, this software is known as the Office Communications Software and various other software the same name, Lync a new name for Microsoft's unified communications products.  Although the launch event in New York, but the owner of Microsof, Bill Gates appeared briefly, via a video call from Seattle.  Part of the webcast disbanded - Microsoft says it's because the satellite TV feed, not Lync connection between New York and Seattle - but here is what I hear Gates said. Chris Capossela, senior vice president in Microsoft's business division added, "We feel like the future of productivity Lync here today, Lync was the peg on the axle of our office communications strategy." The software can be used with existing phone systems in a company to add instant messaging, video conferencing and location awareness. Or can be used to replace an existing phone on a corporate system, also called PBX, which used to run the phone system on company servers. The software also works with Windows Live Messenger, Microsoft's free instant messaging video calls and software. Microsoft also added features to this software to work with Xbox Kinect, Microsoft motion sensor for video game systems, so that gamers can make video calls via their home television.  The company said the next year, Lync will work with the iPhone and Windows phones 7.
