News : Qualifying MotoGP San Marino 2011, Stoner wins pole

Casey Stoner continued good performance. After appearing as the fastest racer in the free practice III, now he successfully took pole position after being the fastest in the qualifying session.



At the session which took place at the Misano circuit on Saturday (03/09/2011), Stoner incised record time of 1:33.138 seconds. He successfully beat Jorge Lorenzo in second position with a gap of 0.120 seconds.



Being in third place was teammate Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, who left 0.180 seconds behind. Then the sequence is in position four and five was Ben Spies and Marco Simoncelli.

Jorge Lorenzo crash in the final free practice did not affect performance when diving qualifying session. The proof, Yamaha rider successful took pole position.

Quoted from Autosport, Lorenzo able to rise from the incident by scoring the fastest time of 1 minute 21.610 seconds at the Laguna Seca circuit on Sunday (07/24/2011). Casey Stoner will start the race right behind her with a gap of 0.072 seconds.

Winner of the German MotoGP, Dani Pedrosa completed the front row with the third best record time to 1 minute 21.385 seconds.

Video : MotoGP Sachsenring German 2011, Stoner got pole

Casey Stoner won the first start position in the German MotoGP. In qualifying on Saturday (16/07/2011) night, managed to outperform Stoner Dani Pedrosa.

Stoner took pole position with a record time of 1 minute 21.681 seconds. Australian racer gained pole position in last moments.

Meanwhile, Stoner's teammate, Dani Pedrosa took second place.

Jorge Lorenzo topped the free practice III had to settle for reaching the third starting position.

Negative results should be achieved by Valentino Rossi in qualifying this time. He will start the race from 16th or penultimate. Quoted from Autosport, becoming the worst start of The Doctor in MotoGP this season.

Qualifying this evening's accident marred Cal Crutchlow and Karel Abraham. But both can finish the session.

Casey Stoner will race from pole position after recording the fastest time in qualifying session. Yamaha rider, Ben Spies managed to become the second fastest followed by the two host rider, Marco Simoncelli and Andrea Dovizioso.

While teammate Spies, Jorge Lorenzo who had become the fastest in FP3 session only able to occupy fifth position.

Stoner Wins BMW In Jerez

For the umpteenth time Stoner wins BMW car and at this time was the BMW Sauber F1 Team Edition in BMW qualifying session.Stoner on top in the final ten minutes of the session with lap time 1'38.646 .The session was interrupted by an accident for James Toseland and then finished a few minutes early due to rain and the good news is he is 'ok'.
