Sunday, March 6, 2011

Honda look very impressive during pre-season MotoGP tests 2011 in Sepang, Malaysia. In two trials that took place during the month of February (1-3 and 22-24), the Japanese team always dominate and put four in a row their racer in forefront.

No wonder if Honda's most favored to become world champion this season, after the last time they won the most prestigious class in 2006 by Nicky Hayden. Trio Honda, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso, and Gresini Honda rider, Marco Simoncelli, unstoppable during a test at Sepang.

The Result above, was a question about Honda's phenomenon, which manifests into a superior team. What secrets that make them hard to beat?

HRC executive vice president, Shuhei Nakamoto, said that they have made some changes. However, there was no extreme change to face the 2011 season.

"It's hard to explain, but we've tried many things," said Nakamoto told the official MotoGP site. "To every thing we've done repairs, though small. But if you can find there are 100 things, then you only find only 10 of them, that's a tenth of it.

"Last year in the second round, our results are not too good during crash in Motegi, when Dani (Pedrosa) trying to pursue Jorge (Lorenzo). We have found a direction of development, and we maintain that direction to the HRC, in the engine, suspension, brakes , and others. Any minor changes made step by step, and now we have a competitive machine, but of course we must continue to develop it. "

About the performance of Honda is also recognized by Lorenzo. The world champion said, what has been shown to give a clear picture that the Honda was great this year.

"Four Honda rider in front: it means that the bike has undergone many changes, though of course only one of the most powerful rider because the others are behind," said Lorenzo to Motosprint.

"We've been trying to fix it and improve one second compared with 2010. The problem is that our rivals had further improvement and changed. At some point, the difference in gaining top speed of 8 kilometers per hour. At present Honda is a motorcycle with the strongest power; Ducati in second position and Yamaha third.
