Honda look very impressive during pre-season MotoGP tests 2011, because they put their rider in the forefront. No wonder the Japanese team has become the strongest candidate for the 2011 season.

However, what if the expectations are not realized? Honda boss confirms that they will be very disappointed if his team failed again to win the world title.. 2011 was the last season of 800cc MotoGP era machine. There are strong reasons why the Honda is very ambitious to end the title drought. The reason is, since the era of 800cc engines starting in 2007, they haven't felt the pleasure to be number one.

Throughout the last four years the era of 800cc, Honda only twice almost became champion by Dani Pedrosa. Spanish rider is only able to be runner-up in 2007 and last season. Famine title that makes Honda stifling. They set a target to become a champion, when the era of 800cc will be completed in this 2011 season - from 2012, MotoGP will use 1.000cc machine.

"No problem for me, whether it's 800cc or 1.000cc. I want to win!" said Vice President of HRC, Shuhei Nakamoto, said to MCN. "Honda has long been disappointed that we never be world champion. We are disappointed about this, that we never win in the 800cc class, so we hope to achieve it this year."

Indeed, Honda certainly has high expectations for 2011 season. The test in Sepang, Malaysia, on February 1 to 3 and February 22 to 24, they dominate. Marco Simoncelli fastest in opening practice, and Stoner was unstoppable in the next exercise.

"I never believe in themselves, but all the Honda rider looks very strong. Usually, in winter testing, we only see Daniel as the Fastest, but now all Honda riders appear quick. This means, basically the machine had a higher level than before, so we are optimistic, "added Nakamoto.
