Aoyama join Honda Gresini next season

Hiroshi Aoyama will join the team San Carlo Honda Gresini in MotoGP season 2011. This signal is visible from the testing at Valencia on Tuesday (9/11/10), in which the Japanese rider is riding Gresini.

So far there has been no official confirmation about it. However, what is done in Valencia Aoyama've given very strong indications that he would move to the team.

Aoyama, who became the last rider who won the 250cc class - from 2010, renamed the 250cc class Moto2 - making his debut in the arena Interwetten Honda MotoGP team. But Interwetten already withdrew from the competition, so the only Japanese rider will be side by side with his rival in the race for the 250cc title last season, Marco Simoncelli.

In his debut in the premier class, Aoyama must be satisfied to finish in the order of 15. Throughout one season, he won the best achievement finished seventh, and absent in six series due to a spinal injury at Silverstone.

Aoyama fill the place of Marco Melandri, after the Italian rider has chosen to exit from MotoGP and perform in the World Superbike next season.
