Serena Williams should be absent in three tournaments ahead of the U.S. Open, August 30, 2010, because of right leg injury after stepping on broken glass at a restaurant. World number one will be absent in Istanbul, Cincinnati and Montreal.
This newspaper disclosed the WTA Tour through their official site, Saturday, July 17, 2010. In the news they are determined to Serena needs an operation to restore the injured leg for stepping on broken glass at the restaurant. It is unclear how it happened.
