Ducati confident that the new motor 1.000cc in MotoGP next season will be more suited to a variety of styles and will not be extreme and difficult to be conquered, just like the previous series. Italian teams are optimistic, Desmosedici GP12 will be more "benign".

Two Ducati rider, Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden, was trying to prototype GP12 at Jerez last month. They tried to dispel the myth that only Casey Stoner can win consistently with the machine.

Ducati boss, Vittoriano Guareschi, said Rossi immediately impressed with the new motor. Because the power is more good GP12 and GP11 was wild.

"He really liked the engine. Character is much easier to overcome and the torque away and do not need no much change in a single corner to have good acceleration. With 1.000cc, every throttle feels good,"said Guareschi.

"1.000cc very pleasant and very easy to drive compared to the 800cc .For me ,this would be a big step to open the door for the rider to be competitive .Motor 1.000cc will not be extreme , such as 800cc ,"he said .

Indeed, throughout the history of Ducati in the MotoGP arena Stoner only the most successful being the 2007 world champion. Australian rider, who last summer moved to Honda, incised 23 victories since 2007 to strengthen the Ducati on last season. In the 800cc era, in addition to Stoner, the team based in Bologna was also only recorded one victory when Loris Capirossi won the Japanese GP.
