REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, Sepang - 2011 MotoGP World Champion, Casey Stoner, was surprised to hear the news of the death of rider Marco Simoncelli. Stoner admitted Simoncelli very severe collision.
"Once I was watching the crash, my stomach lurched," said Stoner. "When your helmet off during the race and crash, it's a very very bad," he continued.
President of the Italian Olympic Committee, Gianni Petruci, lamented the death of Simoncelli. He said, no proper Simoncelli go at a young age. "You should not have died at the age of 24 years simply because of race," he said.
MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow said via Twitter, "RIP Marco Simoncelli! A great racer and a good person. I'll never forget this day."
Likewise F1 driver Mark Webber, "RIP Marco. A very special talent that will be missed all the people."
