John Hopkins will return to the MotoGP arena after receiving a wildcard facility. Riders from the United States will race for Suzuki team at Grand Prix at Brno Circuit Czech Republic on 14 August.
In fact, Hopkins has never performed one time with the Japanese team this year, when the place of Alvaro Bautista at Jerez. Thus, in Brno he'll be a tandem rider in Spain, and this will be the first time that Suzuki put two pebalapnya at the track on the 2011 season.
Hopkins is currently appearing in the British Superbike Championship event. Last appearance in Brno as a rider in MotoGP was in 2007, when he finished second in the Suzuki team.
"This is a thrilling thing when get a chance to race in Brno and I'm really looking forward to it," said Hopkins. "I am very pleased that we could reach it because this is something we've been doing for a long time.
28-year-old rider admitted, Suzuki is now much better than that previously in the 2007 season. Therefore, he is very enthusiastic when get a chance, let alone be a duet with Bautista.
"It's also a big advantage for me because it is next to Alvaro. Not only I get it, but also the whole team. By placing the two riders, then we can help develop motor and exchange lots of information to get the GSV-R the best.
