Racing in the sun

Hi well i raced Bradford regional yesterday. It was a cracking day if a little windy which made the first straight feel like someone let your tyres down. There was a good turnout and some good bar banging racing.

The cruiser class and 16+ payback was full up!! This was a well attended race as it was a qualifier for the british championships.

I made the main of 16+ iam happy to say, iam hoping all the training ive done is going to pay off this season.
Will see you all at the first national in Cheddar if not before,
asta la vista Mike

whadya do on a dry spring day??

Well you empty out the swimming pool and get it ready to skate!! Of course..

Heres Yo YOs bowl being cleaned and emptied by me and Dave in readiness for the summer season.

Like a bullet out of gun!!

Well heres a very dark clip(sorry) of Shanaze Read practising gates at the indoor early this year.
Why has she made the final of the world track cycling championships in Majorca? Why is she the most exciting talent in british BMX?
Is it because she gets English institute of Sport access or has some amazing training remedy?
NO its because she wants it the most and works harder than anyone.

Shanaze i salute you, Good luck tonight in the final..

An eventful few days for ASC

Hi,
well the trails at Waterworks have been getting a pounding lately with the good weather. Jake Roberts hit the deck hard last night and fractured his collarbone. We didnt give him much sympathy at least he was going for a big one footer!!

The summer gate sessions at Preston track are underway with Tuesday nights and Saturday days 11-2pm being the ticket. Its a cracking gate setup and well run.So get down there.

The next meeting at Bradford track 31/03/07 will be good and the team will be racing at Harworth for the easter classic on April the 8th. So if your there come up and have a chat about any coaching or race tips.

check this local kid going for it on an unconventional trailriding machine!!

see ya Mike
